"Vanessa was a pleasure to deal with, and she got on my wavelength very quickly, and seemed to know exactly what I wanted. The end results were stunning and were much admired." Sue Beck

From Vanessa:
"I love designing both modern and traditional wedding flowers, and have lots of ideas to help get you started. I'm keen to work with brides to make sure you get your dream flowers within your budget - no matter how big or small!"

Cecilia and JJ married at Pembroke Lodge in the spring of 2012, which meant we had an abundance of beautiful spring flowers to choose from! Cecilia wanted the arrangements to feel loose and relaxed, in an elegant mix of white, cream and green.

She chose a mixed seasonal bouquet for herself, and her bridesmaids carried posies of divinely smelling white hyacinths which are her favourite flower. The men wore a simple white rose buttonhole with ivy and fragrant rosemary, and the mothers of the bride and groom had spring corsages using flowers from the bridal bouquet.

The ceremony room at Pembroke is stunning, so they chose simple decorations for the chair backs to add a subtle floral element. The magnificent bay window was framed with ivy and a handful of flower clusters, and the top table arrangement doubled up to adorn the mantelpiece.

Cecilia wanted to incorporate her love of books somehow and came up with the innovative idea of using them to stack the floral arrangements on top of – this worked beautifully as they were vintage and in a very pretty shade of green to match in with the arrangements, Cecilia is a librarian so this was a lovely personal touch.

The mothers of both the bride and groom were presented with a bouquet each in their favourite colour combinations, and the hyacniths, freesia and rosemary used in all of the arrangements added a beautiful fragrance to the room!
