"Vanessa was a pleasure to deal with, and she got on my wavelength very quickly, and seemed to know exactly what I wanted. The end results were stunning and were much admired." Sue Beck

From Vanessa:
"I love designing both modern and traditional wedding flowers, and have lots of ideas to help get you started. I'm keen to work with brides to make sure you get your dream flowers within your budget - no matter how big or small!"

Rebecca and Douglas were married in Hertfordshire and the reception was held at the charming Fanham’s Hall in Ware.

Rebecca wanted a traditional bouquet, but with a modern twist. We chose beautiful, large-headed Sweet Avalanche Roses, setting them off with greenery and loops of bear grass. For the Corsages and Buttonholes we chose cream Vandella roses to complement the bridal party colour scheme, these were also used as hair flowers for the bridesmaids.

The church was decorated with pew ends and a large alter arrangement in pink and cream.

The Table arrangements at the reception were to reflect her choice of bouquet – these were a mixture of Sweet Avalanche roses, gorgeous pink Keano roses and pink tulips. Square, glass vases were chosen to keep the look modern with leaves wrapped inside the base. The head table held 3 similar arrangements in vases of varying heights.

The cake was beautifully decorated with alternating Sweet Avalanche and Keano roses.

To keep the room looking romantic the lights were wrapped with ivy, and 2 handtied pink and cream arrangements were placed in the hall reception and bar area. As a little extra I gave Rebecca some single roses wrapped with ribbon to hang and dry as a keepsake. These were given to the mothers of the bride and groom, and she kept one for herself of course!
